Common features
  • Drag & Drop Interface - It is easy and intuitive to control objects and windows using MicroERDTM’s drag & drop user interface. You can dock or undock windows and easily move and arrange objects.
  • Logical & Physical integrated modeling - MicroERDTM offers a logical as well as physical integrated modeling environment in order to create an enterprise-level view of entities considering data managed by an organization and generalize them. You can freely switch between logical and physical models and the conceptual design is also possible with its logical design mode.
Forward/ Reverse Engineering - An existing database model a can be imported into MicroERDTM. In addition, You can create a script for DB creation and it can be applied to an actual database.
  • IDEF2X/IE Notation - MicroERDTM complies with IDEF2X and IE notation, which is the most familiar data modeling languages.
  • Dynamic Help - It will show you the corresponding explanation about a selected item.
  • Minimap - The work area of the diagram is displayed in the form of a minimap so that you can view the entire diagram at a glance.
  • Magnifier - You can check details using the magnifier function without the need to zoom the minimized ER diagram and search the necessary information quickly and accurately among the great number of entities using its searching tool.
  • Model validator - The optimal modeling environment for integrity maintenance by the model validation function enables an accurate model design.
  • Data Dictionary - Through the data dictionary function, you can easily perform standardization during the model creation process and also load and reuse the existing companywide standard information
  • Document automation - You can save model products into documents of various formats, and the Report Designer is provided for creating products suited to the unique corporate format.

What's Different?
  • Standard Edition and Professional Edition for Azure/PDW
The biggest difference between two editions is the databases they support. While Standard Edition and Academy Edition are made for more common databases such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and MySQL, Professional Edition for Azure/PDW supports big data systems such as Azure and PDW as well as common databases.
  • Academy Edition
We made this version in order to encourage people who want to learn about database modeling. This edition must be used for non-commercial purposes only and is available only for educational institutions such as schools, institutions, students or teachers.
